You hear more and more of this each day, or so it seems, but those folks at match.com seem to have it together. Almost 2 and a half years ago, while looking through the site for one last time before giving up, Melissa saw a picture of a handsome man in a Tony Stewart racing hat...being a race fan herself, she decided to send him a note. After discussing the profile with his then 12 year old daughter and looking at the pictures, Eric decided to write back. After several days of writing back and forth and phone calls, they decided to meet. Since that day in November 2004, there has not been a day that they have not been together, either by phone or in person. Melissa claims she knew the minute Eric walked in the door that he would be the one she married. Sometimes, you just know!

The ceremony will be at our church, Faith Independent Assembly of God, located in Des Moines, on April 7th, 2007 at 4 PM. It will be romantic and wonderful with all of the kids participating!

Our reception will be at the West Des Moines Marriott on Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines. We will be having a formal sit down dinner, but be ready to dance because we will be entertained by a great DJ!!

If you need a place to stay, a block of rooms have been reserved at the WDM Marriott where the reception will be held. Of course, if you need to fly in, the Des Moines International is the closest airport.
